Teaching Biography

Alice is a firm believer that learning never stops and this is reflected in her on-going studies. Her motto is “teamwork makes the dream work”, believing that working together achieves more, and she tries to foster these skills within her classroom. Alice loves the kind, happy and supportive atmosphere that Bassett House emits and this has enabled her, as a teaching professional, to flourish and not be afraid to try new things without a fear of “what ifs”.  Most recently, Alice has been overseeing developments for our Bassett Baccalaureate curriculum and she is excited to see it come to fruition, as she takes on the role of Assistant Head (Upper School, Curriculum) within the Senior Leadership Team.

Personal Biography

Alice was born in Bath but grew up and was educated in Oxfordshire, where her parents are still located today. She is an only child but has been kept company by her loyal family Labrador, Monty.  Alice enjoys travelling to explore new places, playing netball for her local league and spending quality time with her friends and family. You can often find her sharing jokes and puns with adults and children alike; challenge her to a joke-off, if you dare. She moved to London in 2013 and still loves the buzz that the city has to offer.  Alice is currently in her final year of studying for her Master’s Degree in Education Leadership with the University of Exeter.
