Teaching Biography
Alastair has been teaching since 2001. He has taught previously in South Yorkshire and internationally in Japan and Belgium before returning to England. Most recently, Alastair was the Head of the Preparatory Division at New Hall School in Chelmsford, before joining Bassett House School as Deputy Head in 2020.
Personal Biography
Alastair, as the son of a farmer, grew up in a rural village in Staffordshire. He loves nothing more than exploring the outdoors, especially hiking in the Lake District or the Peak District. He is passionate about a number of sports and enjoys the highs and lows of being an Everton and Northampton Saints supporter.
