Congratulations to Forms 5 and 6 who have now completed their Sports Leaders UK PlayMaker award. The children worked extremely hard to each achieve this prestigious, nationally recognised qualification that also forms part of the service leadership element of the Bassett Baccalaureate.
The PlayMaker Award introduces children aged 9-11 to leadership by developing their knowledge of how to organise sporting activities and giving them the opportunity to, and responsibility of, assisting in leading their peers and younger children, alongside developing organisation, communication and teamwork skills and building confidence and self-esteem.
It is testament to the maturity, enthusiasm and commitment of our Forms 5 and 6 children that they have achieved this award with flying colours! Well done, you have made us all very proud.
