Bassett House Pupils Lead with Creativity and Collaboration

Pupils from Years 3 and 4 proved themselves outstanding ambassadors for Bassett House School during an inspiring educational visit to the V&A Museum this week. Demonstrating curiosity, creativity and exemplary behaviour, the children embraced the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom in one of the world’s leading centres of art and design.

As part of their visit, the pupils took part in the museum’s engaging Think It, Make It workshop — a hands-on experience designed to develop problem-solving and design thinking skills. Tasked with identifying a real-world problem, the children worked collaboratively to generate innovative solutions before bringing their ideas to life through carefully constructed prototypes.

The workshop challenged them to think critically and creatively, encouraging discussion, experimentation and resilience. Throughout the session, pupils showed impressive teamwork, confidently sharing ideas, listening to one another and refining their designs with enthusiasm.
