Teaching Biography

Vera has considerable experience in education both as an ESOL teacher and Art teacher. She started teaching when she was in her final year at university in Ukraine. Over the years of work at school she has enriched her pedagogical skills and became creative, supportive tutor, encouraging students to achieve goals. She’s fluent in three languages: English, Ukrainian and Russian. She moved to the UK in 2022, when the war broke out in Ukraine. She completed trainings for teaching assistants and gained experience with British curriculum in one of primary schools in Fulham , London. She believes Bassett House School is the place where she can flourish as a teaching professional.

Personal Biography

Vera was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. She enjoys travelling and exploring new places, learning about culture of the country she is travelling to. She moved to London with her son in 2022. She enjoys art, swimming and spending quality time with her son. She successfully completed swimathon to swim 22 miles (the distance of English Channel from England to France) for charity in 2023.
