Bassett House is in North Kensington, within easy reach of Ladbroke Grove and Latimer Road Underground Stations (Hammersmith and City Line) and bus routes 7, 23, 52, 70, 295, 316 and 452.
Bassett House was built towards the end of the 19th century and what was originally designed as a large family house now provides classrooms that are spacious, brightly lit and well heated and ventilated.
The entire building was substantially rebuilt in 2001 to a very high standard. The school premises include the church hall at St Helen's Church, just around the corner from 60 Bassett Road, providing an assembly hall with a stage and gymnasium, three classrooms, a kitchen and a garden.
The main school building has a playground which doubles as a basketball or netball court. Children are taken on most days to a nearby park for recreation. The Westway is used for Games lessons and fixtures against other schools.
